Hi Fabio, it's nice article you wrote.I had a problem regarding android background services in my app. When there was no activity for long period, my app went to background (that's fine), but if idle time was longer, my app (and its background service) got killed too.I think it's ridiculous, because background service should be persistent and should not be killed by OS. I tackled my problem by using foreground service, but it really drained battery.Luckily I found your blog and wish to apply your approach to my app.Thank you.
