I have deleted all the versions i used on my TV, which was a long process, and i am really happy with the picture quality now, i dont have the blu-ray version, but i do have this one, and it is a massive difference between the i-mate and the blu-ray disc, there are all sorts of little things, like its really detailed, which i cant remember seeing on my TV before.
It has black background for the menu, which i guess was to make it a little more interesting in comparison to the cheap surround sound, but its just a little distracting.
Picking up on some of my points above.
The movie was a couple of years old when it was released on blu ray, it could be the upgrade made it look better.
The main reason i picked it up, and the reason why i bought this blu ray disc is because it was one of the few movies that i saw on the front page of my cinema and thought to myself 'i want to buy this' so i had to.
Ive not read much about the movie, i assumed it was a romantic comedy, but now i am reading that its a sci-fi movie, i dont know if thats the reason why it looks more amazing.
I wonder if there are any horror blu ray versions of movies in comparison to the normal movies released?
I am not sure if the blu ray version is the best quality, but you can find all sorts of movies in this format, i am sure there are some horror or action movies on blu ray.
Is it a standard release?
I dont know what format to get a blu ray version in.
I also bought a 1gb blu ray version of The Lego Movie so i could play it on my xbox one and this is the best i have come across.
Here are the specifications of the xbox one i bought it with:
Manual transmission with high quality surround sound, blu ray player.
Has a HDMI 1.4 port for transmitting video.
Has a HDMI 2.0 port for transmitting video.
Has a HDMI 1.4 port for transmitting video.
